LIU: Live it up.
Years ago, Nolan was fishing with his Grandpa Billy. Nolan caught a fish and asked, "What do I do?" Grandpa Billy simply replied, "It’s your fish." These words left a lasting imprint on our lives, teaching us that life is ours to shape. So, live it up. It’s your fish.
Nolan returned home from Afghanistan in 2013 with a new perspective that would forever shape our family. His motto, "Live it up. It’s your fish," became our family creed, emphasizing the importance of taking ownership of our lives and making the most of every moment.
We understood more deeply that time is limited and never guaranteed. Each of us must take charge of our health, mindset, and journey. No matter what life brings, we must seize the opportunity to live, learn, explore, and grow.
When we started our family in 2015, we committed to raising our children with the intention of truly living life. LIU is our way of savoring memories, sharing our journey, and inspiring parents and the next generation to live life to the fullest. Be bold, get dirty, play hard, and take risks.
